Quote from TOF on September 4, 2017, 9:20 amHy first post … and sorry for my english … I’am a poor litllte frenchy guy !!!!
I’m looking how can I integrate this great plugin in my website.
I need to know if is it possible to create automaticily a new topic, when an Andmin or a Moderator write an article in Wordpress ?
Or in the other way : when an admin or a Moderator create a new Topic in th e forum, there will be automaticley a new article in WP.
If Yes can you explain me how do you do that ?
Thanks in advance !

this is not possible yet, but on my todo-list.
If you have some coding experience you could try to implement it via the available hooks.

Quote from TOF on January 2, 2018, 12:55 amAt first … happy new year !
I saw there is now an option to create a new topic when we create a new article.
Great !
So I tried it … and everithing was good
But I tried with an article with a date and a hour of publication …. in WP the article is well signed by my username … but in the forum the new topic is signed by guest !
Did I miss something ?

thank you for this bug-report. I just fixed this in the development-version of the plugin:

Suggestion
In order to link Topic and Article in WP, is it possible to approach the subject in the other direction.
let me explain :
A moderator or an admin writes a message in the forum (new topic or topic answer) and has an option-style check box that would add this new topic or answer as new article in the WP blogI think it would be a great option, even more effective than the one that exists right now

The idea is nice but not so easy to handle. For blog posts you can have different tags, categories, authors, publish dates, etc which you have to manage. Adding all this kind of stuff to the forum is a little bit out of scope. Maybe this can be something which I can provide as a separate addon one day, but it will be not in the near future.

Quote from TOF on August 6, 2018, 2:10 pm@asgaros … and in a classic way ….
Is it possible to put the option of create a Blog Post as a new Topic in the Front End of WP and not in the dashbord of the forum ?
Then when an admin or a moderator write a new article, he can cross the check-box and choose a forum before publishing the article.
Like this , there is no problem for the different tags, categories, authors, publish dates, etc which you have to manage.
And then you have just the articles you want as a topic and not all.
I think it will be a great option of your awesome plugin

You mean in the backend post-administration, right? Because WordPress does not allow you to create posts from the frontend by default. Yes, I guess this is a good idea. I put it on my todo-list:
