Approve new users / Roles in WP

Hi!

I have som questions.

1.As an WP-administrator, is it possible to be noticed and approve new users when they have registered a new account in the forum?

2.Is it possible to avoid that new users who is registered have access to both WP (as a subscriber) and the forum. I only want them to have forum access and not a WP role at all (role “none”) and forum role “user”?

Hey @alleexx,

1. Asgaros Forum is using the User Management of WordPress, so you could use a user approval plugin to manage new user registration.

2. Why don’t you want your users to be Subscribers? They are only allowed to manage their profile which is also used by Asgaros Forum.

Hey @alleexx,

I can’t recommend a plugin since I’ve never used a User Approval.

I just found this article:
