Add class to Login and Register menu

Hi,

I am using ‘AJAX Login and Registration modal popup + inline form’ plugin. Now I want to add div class to Login and Register menu link. I would appreciate if you could help me to achieve this.

Cheers!

Hello @redexpress

Currently it is not possible to modify existing menu-items. But you can hide them via CSS and add your own version via the asgarosforum_custom_header_menu hook. You can find an example here:

Hi I am using Asgaros with wordpress. My forum login goes to the wordpress login. I have been researching different plugins but would like to know what is compatible with asgaros. I am looking at TML (theme my login) and BuddyPress. I am a beginner I have my forum setup but now need to edit the login page so the wordpress login and dashboard does not show when a user hits login.  Do you recommend any others? TML looks easy to use does anyone know if it is plug and play?

Thanks,

Alice

Hello @alice

Using other plugins for building the login-functionality should be fine. In the forum-settings its also possible to define a link to a custom login/registration-page.

I am looking at Theme My login plugin. Is this plugin compatible with Asgaros? You also mention that I can define a link to a custom login/registration-page. I am new to this and I have tried plugins that are not working and I have to keep restoring my site. All I want to do is if someone clicks on the Asgaro register or login button on my forum page is to have the user login with out going to the backend. It is confusing for users

Thank you,

Alice

Hello @alice

Almost all themes should be compatible with Asgaros Forum if they follow regular coding-standards of WordPress. You can use any user-login-plugin you want and set its login-page-link in the forum-settings in: Forum-> Settings -> URLs -> Custom Login URL.
